Services
Your application must include:
1. a completed, signed, and dated application form (make sure you keep your signature within the white box), and
2. two recent Australian passport-sized photos. Please write your full name on the back of one of the photos.
Once the application has been assessed as complete, you will receive an online payment link to make payment for the new passport.
Please note the payment will be taken in Australian dollars (AUD).

Your application must include:
1. a completed PC8 application form, including signed and witnessed parental consent. Children over the age of 10 years must also sign on page 5 of the form (within the white box), and
2. two recent Australian passport photos of the child. One photo must be endorsed by the guarantor have the child's name written on the back, and
3. clear photocopies of identification for both parents providing consent. Identification should include full name and signature.
4. Evidence of current residential address for both parents.
Once the application has been assessed as complete, you will receive an online payment link to make payment for the new passport.

- Instructions from the receiving authority in Australia.

Property (Western Australia ONLY) – Verifying identity and/or witnessing signature on a form
What to bring:
- Correctly prepared and UNSIGNED forms
- Photo ID that has your current signature
- Written instructions from Australian legal practitioner, licenced conveyancer, or mortgagee (your bank).
We cannot complete Verification of Identity / Witness Certificates from your bank or a state regulatory body. The Consulate can instead provide you with a DFAT Identity Certificate to be completed at the same time as the witnessing and certifying functions for a land or property transaction.

- Passports of both parties.
- If either party has been previously married, evidence of the dissolution of the previous marriage.

- A valid photo ID (e.g., passport, national ID, driving licence).
If you are sending a representative to collect the new passport, your representative must bring the following documents:
- A signed and dated letter from you authorising your representative to collect the new passport and, if applicable, to have the old passport cancelled.
- Your representative’s original and valid photo IDs.

The Consular and Passports Office at the Australian Consulate-General in Dubai has consular responsibility for Australians in Dubai and The Northern Emirates. We provide a range of services to the general public, including consular, passport and notarial services. For information on these services, please visit www.uae.embassy.gov.au/abud/consular.html.
The Consulate-General is open to the public from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Sunday to Thursday. Visitors will need to present a photo ID in exchange for a visitor's pass in order to enter the Consulate. Your ID will be returned to you when you return the visitor's pass.
